Method 1 - How to tie a sarong the traditional way:-

Traditionally the sarong is cut to size and the two edges stitched together to form a tube, however, it is not essential.


Step 1. Gather the excess material with the right hand, hoding the join with the left hand.	Step 2. Move the right hand over to the left side.

Step 3. Knot the top and bottom layers together.	Step 4. And that is it!

How to tie sarong - Method 2:-

For a customised, sleeker look cut to size, insert darts as required, stitch the two ends together leaving a gap at the top and use metal fasteners instead of tying.
