Terms & Conditions

Definitions:-

The Customer – The person(s) - or appointed agent of the person(s) – purchasing merchandise from this website.

The Supplier – The Oriental Creative Products Co. Ltd., being the Company offering merchandise for sale on this website.

The Carrier – The freight forwarding company appointed by the “Supplier” for the purpose of delivering purchased merchandise to the “Customer”.

Payment, Ordering and Delivery:-

1) Payment, including any additional shipping charge, must be made in full prior to the goods being shipped. For payment, other than by credit card using the credit card facility provided by the Website, by wire transfer, money order etc. goods will not be shipped until satisfactory clearance of the payment instrument has been obtained.

2) Upon satisfactory confirmation of receipt of payment the Supplier shall notify the Customer, by e-mail, of the anticipated date of shipment of the order.

3) The price quoted for goods, plus shipping charge, includes packing, handling and delivery to the Customer’s address. It does NOT include any Customs or Import Duty or any taxes or any other charges levied in or by the Customer’s Country of delivery of goods. It also does NOT include any Customs clearance charge levied by the Carrier. The Customer is responsible for all such charges and these must be paid at the time of delivery.

4) By offering goods for sale on the Website and arranging shipping to the Customer's address the Supplier offers no warranty, nor does the Supplier imply, that the goods shipped are acceptable for import into the Country of destination. It is the Customer's sole responsibility, as the Importer, to satisfy him/herself that the goods ordered are not prohibited or restricted for import into the Country of destination. The Supplier will not be held responsible for any delays incurred due to the goods not being acceptable for import nor will the Supplier be held responsible should the goods be impounded or confiscated. Refunds will only be considered if the goods are returned to the Supplier in good order and within a reasonable period of time.

5)The Supplier cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery incurred once the goods have been delivered to the Carrier. For example, but not limited to: strikes, commotion, terrorist threats, etc. which may cause interruption to the Carrier’s schedule.

6) In the event of goods recieved broken or damaged the Customer will advise the Supplier, by e-mail or fax, as soon as is practical after receipt but in any event within 5 days and, where possible, provide the Supplier with photographic evidence. Upon receipt of satisfactory evidence the Supplier will provide a replacement at no additional charge. The Supplier reserves the right to request the return of the damaged item prior to shipping a replacement.

7) Should the Customer be dissatisfied with goods recieved the Supplier shall refund the cost of the item(s), less shipping charges, provided the Customer notifies the Supplier within 5 days of receipt and returns the item(s), in good order and in the original packing, with a forwarding date not later than 5 days following receipt by the Customer. Cost of return shipping to be paid by the Customer.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the description of the products offered for sale on this website due to the products been handmade and/or hand-finished, photographic reproduction and the colour calibration of the computer monitor the products are being viewed on there may be slight variances in the colour or finishing of the product. Dimensions and weights quoted for products may vary slightly due to rounding of the figures and an allowance should be made for hand-crafted products as no two will ever be identical.
